Kit Carson Electric Cooperative (KCEC) is a member owned Electric Distribution Cooperative. KCEC is one of 13 electric cooperatives that serve rural New Mexico communities, and one of 44 distribution cooperatives receiving power from Tri-State Generation and Transmission, of Denver, Colorado.
KCEC Board Expenditure Comparison The Kit Carson Electric Cooperative, Inc. (KCEC) Board of Trustees are compensated for the time they spend in such activities as board meetings, committee meetings, training and advocacy for the cooperative. A recent comparative compensation report shows their expenditures to be in line with those of other cooperative boards.
